To determine the vapour content of fuels by measuring the dew point.The sample enters a stainless steel chamber and passes across a stainless steel mirror cooled by refrigerant. The temperature at which water vapour starts to condense on the mirror is indicated by a thermometer, viewed through a pressure-resisting window.
